Michael Nates has over 25 years expertise as an Executive Director and management consultant working on leadership and empowerment, organisational growth, risk management and transformation. Trained as a Mechanical Engineer and having worked within corporate, consultancy and NGO roles, Michael has since been awarded professional Engineering, IOSH and Fellow membership and Chartered Environmentalist status. He is a trained Executive Coach and is currently finishing a Doctorate of Business Administration degree focusing on expatriate self interest and behaviour.

By integrating technical and social competencies, he focuses on implementing practical cost-effective people-centric solutions. In 2007, Michael was the runner up Strategy Consultant of the year organised by the UK’s Management Consulting Association. In short, Michael is a Professional Generalist with a suite of management and technical experience that enables him to lead teams of technical and content specialists to deliver business goals and growth.

Michael is multi-cultural, having worked for several years in each of Southern Africa, the UK and the Middle East. Sectors include power and renewable energy, construction, built environmental and real estate, transport and professional services.
